How To Move On From a Relationship

Intimate relationships are complicated it can cause you so much happiness and it could also cause you so much grief and sorrow. When you are in love, the whole world around you stops.  You tend to be subjective and your focus is narrowed. It is important to have good friends around you during this time, good people who can tell you what is right and wrong. Most importantly listen to your family who has the biggest concern for you. Though sometimes they give you their bad impression but in the end it is still you who decides what’s best for you, but remember use your mind and your heart.  It would also help you if you can have a quick reflection by asking the Divine Order to guide you in making a major decision.

Successful relationships are based on both partners’ efforts, time and love towards each other. It is a give and take relationship. When one is down, the other person should understand and give comfort. It must work both ways.

Trust and respect are major keys to a lasting relationship. Once they are broken it is difficult to repair. When you think you are already in a hurting and unhappy relationship, it is important to be honest and say what you truly feel towards the other. Sometimes words may not be quick to be absorbed or the hurt doesn’t go away fast. Don't worry time heal all the wounds. Healing takes a process.

Here are ways on how to move on from a relationship:

1.      Accept that the relationship is over.
2.      It is okay to cry. It is a great relief.
3.      Forgive your partner as well as yourself.
4.      Go out, have fun and socialize with your friends.
5.      Pamper yourself, go to a spa, and get a massage, have a make-over or get a manicure and pedicure. In other words, make yourself beautiful.
6.      Do your favorite outdoor activities, such as swimming, biking, hiking etc..
7.      Exercise. It will make you healthy in mind and body.
8.      Watch a comedy show.
9.      Listen to dance and party music.
10.  Write with all your emotions. Write in a piece of paper the things that hurt you and things you want to achieve. It is a good outlet.

When you finally moved on, it will be an accomplishment for you. You will have a good laugh remembering how you got crazy at one point in your life by being a drama queen or king.
